A retired Chief Fire Officer who served with Highlands and Islands Fire Service is planning a mammoth 4,300 mile bike ride across America to raise funds for The Fire Fighters Charity. Thames Valley apartment provider, House of Fisher, is supporting us throughout the month of August. Three Directors from Wiser Group - long time supporters of the Charity - have completed a 400KM bike ride across, or rather up and down, some of the highest peaks in the Pyrenees. Two firefighters from Hereford and Worcester FRS have taken on the 444 mile Yukon River Quest - the world's longest annual canoe and kayak race - finishing second overall and winning the Masters race.
