Serviced apartment provider, House of Fisher, is promoting us as its Charity of The Month for August, holding events throughout the coming weeks and offering its customers the opportunity to donate to us.
On its website, the company said that: “Whilst we have always had great admiration for the amazing efforts from the fire department, witnessing the heroic, self-sacrificing activities during the tragic Grenfell Tower incident recently touched us to support this organisation and further highlight their fantastic work.
“With almost 200 apartments within the Thames Valley area, we work closely with The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service (RBFRS)/Hampshire Fire and Rescue. They maintain close ties to the local community and provide us with knowledgeable advice ensuring we maintain the best practises for the safety of our guests. Inevitably there have been incidents involving our guests over the years at a few locations, which the Fire and Rescue Service have provided quick and valuable support to resolve.”
