Wiser Group Directors Russell and Dominic Hirst and Charlie Thomas , together with friend Alistair Whitehead, recently completed a 400KM cycle across the Pyrenees. Taking in major Tour de France and Vuelta Espania climbs including the Col do Tourmalet, Somport, Portalet and Col du Aubisque, the four conquered an overall ascent of over 25,000 feet, in temperatures of around 34 degrees Celsius.

After climbing off his bike, Russell Hirst, Managing Director, said: “The week was a fantastic experience in a most beautiful location. We would like to thank everyone for their positive support and generous donations, particularly as news of the Grenfell Tower fire reached us whilst on the trip and reminded us again of the bravery and high level training of our firefighters. Planning for our next challenge is underway as we continue to raise funds for this worthy cause.”
