Former firefighter Graham Matthews is a member of a Lodge in West Sussex and says we were chosen as their charity of choice after his dad, who was a firefighter for several decades, passed away.

Colleagues from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service have completed their fifth Phoenix Challenge in memory of their friend Stu Crebbin. From football matches and bowls tournaments to speed quizzing and huge personal challenges, here are some of our fantastic June fundraising highlights. A group of five fire service officers from Cheshire FRS have cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats, raising more than £5,500. Our volunteers are an integral part of our charity, giving up their time to make a difference, while enjoying an incredibly rewarding role.
