The Wannell family have been supporting us since the 1970s with their vintage turntable ladder fire appliance – having experienced our support first-hand, through the generations. From tonnes of recycled clothes to runs, challenges and expeditions, our supporters have started 2024 as they mean to go on. Thank you to all of you! West Midlands firefighter Iain Hughes tragically passed away in 2023, while swimming the English Channel in aid of us and two other charities. A group of Leicestershire firefighters have set up a walking group and fundraiser in memory of their colleague Gary Chamberlain, who sadly passed away at the end of 2023.
