A small station in rural Wales has raised thousands for us this year through a number of fundraising events – a shining example of the impact local communities can have. Derbyshire on-call firefighter, Pip Waite, ran 31 miles on a treadmill in full fire kit, while watching Fireman Sam episodes, to raise funds for us. From school children completing a sponsored walk to runs, Open Days, gruelling challenges and so much more, July has been packed with fundraising highlights.
