Retired firefighter Roger Dyson, 61, from Manchester recently visited Jubilee House for the first time after a long-standing injury. A regular player of The Fire Fighters Lottery and a beneficiary who has used the Charity's services in the past, Andrew Alecock's numbers came in and he won over £18,000 in April 2014. Here's his story, in his own words. Time is precious. We all know that – whether we’re at work, at home or at play, it always feels as if there aren’t enough hours in the day. Even so, there are those amongst us who go out of their way to try and give back to their local community by volunteering their time on top of all their daily responsibilities – Stuart Plaskett, The Fire Fighters Charity Service Coordinator for Cheshire Fire and Rescue, is just such a person.
Roger: “Now I am on the right road”
Andrew: “It was unbelievable. I was in shock, elated!”
Stuart: “Three generations of my family have used your services”
