Jamie Alcock drove his two Shire horses all the way up the country in memory of his brother, while raising vital funds for The Fire Fighters Charity. Firefighters from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service have been praised for their efforts. Charlie Thompson, a firefighter with Greater Manchester FRS, attempted to break a Guinness World Record in full fire kit in support of the Charity. Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service has raised more than £4,000 by completing the Bob Graham Round – twice – after many personnel were helped by the Charity. Six firefighters, both retired and serving, cycled from Lands’ End to John O’Groats as a thank you to The Fire Fighters Charity for the support they've all received.
