Having strong support can completely change your experience of the menopause – and if you’re the one offering support, there are some simple things you can do to make things easier. Everyone’s experience of the menopause is different – but there are some symptoms that prove particularly common. Here, we share some key coping strategies. Our Wellness & Behaviour Change Coaches, Sally Walker and AJ Whitaker, share some tips to cope with menopause symptoms. Throughout October we will be focusing on women’s health, with the aim of offering support to female fire and rescue service personnel, as well as family members in our fire service community. We are hosting a programme at one of our centres in December, specifically for anyone who would benefit from support for a neurological condition or injury, but who doesn’t need full-time support.
