South Yorkshire FRS donates 25K from internal lottery
Following almost three decades of running its internal lottery, South Yorkshire FRS has made another incredible donation to us from its kind-hearted employees.

A team of 10 firefighters are set to run the Ilkley Half Marathon - with some of them taking part in full fire kit and BA. Richard and Justina Sexton marked their 80th birthdays this year, the same year as our own, with a garden party in aid of us – as a thank you for the support their received from their local fire crews. Poppy was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia last year. The youngster now wants to fundraise for us as a thank you to firefighters that went the extra mile to cheer her up. Elliot Kear, who was part of the Welsh squad in this year’s Rugby League World Cup, says he’s donated to us from the moment he joined the fire service.
