Lancashire FRS has developed a new team dedicated to wellbeing dogs – and each of them will have our Support Line across their leads to ensure those they help know where to turn for support, longer-term. Firefighter Stephen Wharton is the winner of a Pride of Britain Award after rescuing a boy who was submerged under water for 25 minutes. Charlie Thompson, a firefighter with Greater Manchester FRS, attempted to break a Guinness World Record in full fire kit in support of the Charity. Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service has raised more than £4,000 by completing the Bob Graham Round – twice – after many personnel were helped by the Charity.
