Five-time 'Bag it and Bank it' winners Egremont Fire Station share their top five tips on how to collect more than 11,000 KG of textiles in just one month. Thank you to all the stations up and down the country who have been raising money for the Charity over the festive period. From sleigh rides to Santa's grottos and even donkey collections, we've enjoyed seeing your photos and videos, and gathered together a selection of our favourites. Last month saw Peterhead’s Red Watch raise an astonishing £6,500 for their #My75Miles challenge – walking along the disused Banff and Buchan railway line to Dyce and back. Watch a video of The Fire Tones' cover of the Band Aid classic, 'Do They Know It's Christmas'. The group are currently in the running to be the Christmas Number One, with sales of the single going to The Fire Fighters Charity and The Band Aid Charity Trust. Firefighters took part in The Broadgate Tower Run Up, climbing the equivalent of a vertical mile, some wearing full kit. And it was all to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
