The Mullenger family have been in the fire service for generations – all while supporting us - and now two of the youngest members of the family, aged 13 and 10, have followed suit. Jack Gillett is our new Engagement Rep, covering Southwest England, and he’s sharing why he chose to join our team alongside his on-call work. An on-call firefighter and two colleagues walked the distance in fire kit and BA, while his wife and her father – also an on-call firefighter – joined them in normal clothing. The Wannell family have been supporting us since the 1970s with their vintage turntable ladder fire appliance – having experienced our support first-hand, through the generations. Avon Fire and Rescue Service invited staff and their families and friends to come together for a fun-filled day in support of us.
