Fire and rescue heroes named in Queen’s New Year’s Honours List 2019
Our patron, Her Majesty The Queen, has honoured members of the fire and rescue service community.
Our patron, Her Majesty The Queen, has honoured members of the fire and rescue service community. From a record-breaking January recycling competition to being in the running for the Christmas Number One, it's been quite the year. Here's a look back at all that has happened in 2018. The first Living Well Group took place last week at Aberdare, inviting retired beneficiaries to meet and share their experiences of life in the fire service. In Britain, more than one in five accidental electrical fires affect an older person living alone. Case Worker Karen Lane tells us what help is available to beneficiaries to keep safe during the winter. The Fire Fighters Charity has been selected as one of three to be supported by annual charity appeal.
