A team of firefighters from Greater Manchester has completed a 1,700 mile ride from Oldham to Gibraltar Paramedic and On Call Firefighter, Nick Hinchley, is cycling and running his 75 miles as a thank you for the help his father received from the Charity.
61-year-old Colin Thatcher ran 75 miles over three days from Winchester to Brighton, visiting several stations on his way. William and Aalin Cowley, aged 7 and 4, will be working hard over the summer holidays to complete their 75 miles, with a little help from mum, dad and baby brother, six-month old George. Bernadette is walking a mile for every month her husband, Station Officer Mark Travers lived, aiming to complete 805 miles by the end of the year.
