Why self care isn’t selfish
Being kind to yourself is not a concept that comes naturally to many of us, but taking a bit of time out of each day for some self care might just be the best thing you could do for your own wellbeing.
Being kind to yourself is not a concept that comes naturally to many of us, but taking a bit of time out of each day for some self care might just be the best thing you could do for your own wellbeing. In celebration of Friendship Day, the Welfare team tells us what friendship means to them and how they can help anyone who feels like they don't have a friend in the world. Getting food on the table can be a constant source of worry for someone living with financial hardship. Our Welfare Team can offer a short-term fix, while helping people find long-term solutions for their money issues. Our Welfare Services team bring care out to the community, working on a case-by-case basis to ensure every beneficiary receives the best support for their specific needs. Beneficiaries staying at our centres can self-refer for a session with one of our Welfare Caseworkers during their time with us.
