Guernsey firefighter Chris Bisson pushed himself to the limit during his charity trek through the Amazon rainforest, and still found the energy to keep going. We sit down with him to hear about his incredible five-day hike to Colombia's Lost City. Refusing to let being rained off dampen their fundraising efforts for The Fire Fighters Charity and The Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha Foundation, five members of Leicester Central's white watch completed a half marathon at City's football stadium last weekend. It wasn't fitness that stopped Welsh firefighter Lyndon Rees from completing a gruelling SAS hike through the Brecon Beacons in full fire kit and breathing apparatus. It was the fact that he stopped to rescue a dog walker who had fallen 500ft down the side of a mountain.
