The return of Bag it and Bank it
Our annual January clothes recycling competition is back for another year. Can your fire station be the best in your service and even in your region?
Our annual January clothes recycling competition is back for another year. Can your fire station be the best in your service and even in your region? You’ve made our 80th year one to remember, with challenges, events, parties and so much more – all while raising thousands for us. Thank you to all of you. Lancashire on-call firefighter, Glen Bailey, spent 24 hours continuously lifting weights in a gym to raise funds for us. David Gill set himself the challenge of running 8 miles every day for eight years, before upping it to match the length of the equator – an incredible 24,901 miles. Family and friends of Harrison Bretherton, who sadly died in a road traffic collision earlier this year, are organising a 22-mile run in his memory - and in aid of us.
