Our Chair of the Board of Trustees: A message of condolence
We are so sad to report the passing of Paul…
We are so sad to report the passing of Paul… Continuing our commitment to Carers Week, Nursing Services Lead Kath Savage spoke to some of the carers from within the fire community to hear what caring means to them. While caring can be rewarding, it can also feel like a burden. In honour of Carers Week, our Welfare Services Lead Carrie Pearce shares her own experience of caring for her mother-in-law. This Carers Week, our Welfare Caseworker, Irene Ramsden, tells us why this network of unsung heroes around the UK need more support. Firefighter Adam Tubby has seen the positive impact the Charity can have on firefighters’ lives and, as a way to support us, has created miniature replica fire helmets that are exclusively available through The Fire Fighters Charity online shop.
