Bericote Properties has raised nearly £14,000 for The Fire Fighters Charity by zip-lining off the top of a 210m-high power station chimney A group of fire and rescue personnel from across the UK have joined forces to record a cover of Band Aid's 'Do They Know It's Christmas?'. Proceeds from The Fire Tones' single will be split between The Fire Fighters Charity and the Band Aid Charity Trust. Having decided she wanted a challenge, Sarah Bascombe completed a four-day cycle from Paris to Geneva. From Parisian streets to picturesque villages, here she shares her experience of a mountainous but spectacular 340-mile route that saw her raise over £2,000. Thank you to all firefighters, support staff and volunteers who helped out washing cars over the past few weeks, and also to the members of the public who brought their cars (and scooters) along!
