In celebration of Friendship Day, the Welfare team tells us what friendship means to them and how they can help anyone who feels like they don't have a friend in the world. Our very own Exercise Therapist Abbie Morris has some tips for how to give yourself 150 minutes worth of me time each week in the fight against inactivity. Getting food on the table can be a constant source of worry for someone living with financial hardship. Our Welfare Team can offer a short-term fix, while helping people find long-term solutions for their money issues. Four Croydon firefighters are taking part in the Red Bull Soapbox Race at Alexander Palace on Sunday 7 July to raise funds for the charity. We hear why they chose to do so, as well as give you the chance to win two tickets to the event on Sunday 7 July. We are always so impressed with the huge efforts you all go to with fundraising for us. There aren't enough hours in the day to say a big enough thank you, but for now, let us make a start by sharing the amazing things people have been getting up to in the name of The Fire Fighters Charity.
