Kent Fire Control took part in a charity abseil down the Canterbury Fire Station drill tower to raise money for two fire-related charities: The Fire Fighters Charity and the Katie Piper Foundation. 11-year-old beneficiary, Joshua Bills, will perform the coin toss at the Wimbledon Gentlemen's Final this weekend. Members of our clinical team had a chance to experience life on the other side of the fence recently, spending a day at Worthing Fire Station. Eleven trainee firefighters from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service have pulled together to raise hundreds of pounds by hauling a 12-tonne fire engine around a four mile course.
