World Suicide Prevention Day is a day to raise awareness of mental health - with a focus on ‘Creating Hope Through Action’. When Karen Bell received support at one of our centres following a lawnmower accident - which left her with major injuries to her hand - she didn’t realise how much it would benefit her mental health too. Jaspreet Kaur, a Business and Project Support Officer with Surrey FRS, was able to attend our Reset Programme during a difficult time – and that’s all thanks to your regular donations. Colin Wood, a retired firefighter with Avon FRS, kayaked almost the length of the UK in support of us - while spreading a powerful message around the importance of reaching out for support with your mental health Knowing warning signs, symptoms and where to turn for check-ups is so important and when it comes to men’s health, there are a few things you can do to keep an eye on yourself too.
