Grimsby Fire Station raised an incredible amount from its annual fete, which first started 45 years ago and has gone from strength to strength. Here, they share their secrets to success. A community came together to take part in a bike ride in aid of us, after their local fire crew saved two brothers who were trapped in a house fire last year. Killingbeck Green Watch, from West Yorkshire FRS, will run the half marathon in aid of us while wearing full firefighting kit. Cheyenne Hirst and her partner Matt are raising funds for us and two other charities after their nephew, Cohen, was left with a serious brain injury following a devastating car crash. Following almost three decades of running its internal lottery, South Yorkshire FRS has made another incredible donation to us from its kind-hearted employees.
