Firefighters from Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service have been praised for their efforts. Charlie Thompson, a firefighter with Greater Manchester FRS, attempted to break a Guinness World Record in full fire kit in support of the Charity. Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service has raised more than £4,000 by completing the Bob Graham Round – twice – after many personnel were helped by the Charity. Six firefighters, both retired and serving, cycled from Lands’ End to John O’Groats as a thank you to The Fire Fighters Charity for the support they've all received. The Wimbledon Foundation has donated an incredible £30,000 to The Fire Fighters Charity as part of a three-year partnership, brought about by London Fire Brigade.
