UK outdoor theatre touring company, Heartbreak Productions, kindly chose to support us with one of its four productions this year, Jane Eyre, with collections taking place throughout summer. A group of children working with Homestart East Surrey were invited to an Open Day with crews from Surrey FRS – before enjoying a very special reading of our book, The Wolf Was Not Sleeping. Jim Sutherland built his own bike from old parts and cycled from Land’s End to John o’ Groats in aid of us in August, as a thanks for the support his wife received following a shoulder injury and cancer diagnosis.
