Retired firefighter Roger Dyson, 61, from Manchester recently visited Jubilee House for the first time after a long-standing injury.
After recently undergoing illness, surgery and treatment for breast cancer, Elaine is now in remission. She has visited Harcombe House on three separate occasions, twice for recuperation and most recently for rehabilitation.
Sally Barnett began her career in the Fire Control room at Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service HQ. She became a retained fire fighter after recovering from a serious back injury. She says she would never have been fit enough to do so without the help and support of The Fire Fighters Charity.
