Nerys Thomas, a Central Response Officer for Mid and West Wales FRS, shares her experience of both our physical health support following an injury, and a Rest and Recharge stay after a family bereavement. Assistant Chief Fire Officer Stuart Millington says raising awareness of what we do, not only for operational firefighters, but support staff too, is one of his top priorities after he experienced our support first-hand. When retired firefighter Brian Hull’s wife passed away in 2019, he received support from his former colleagues through the charity’s Living Well Groups.
