We’ve supported Phil Maynard for years – firstly with his mental health and more recently following a hip replacement. Now he’s going above and beyond to show his appreciation. Retired firefighter Lee Fisher and his wife Lynne visited Jubilee House for separate injuries. They say having supported the charity for years, they were able to get the help they both needed when they needed it most. Martin Chester couldn't walk when he got in touch with us. However, he went on to walk or cross train 10km every day for a month to raise funds for us and say thanks for the ongoing support he has received. Sherron Razey had resigned herself to a life living in pain after an operation eight years ago. But time spent at Harcombe House changed her mind, which in turn changed her life. Surrey Fire and Rescue Service's Volunteer Manager Andy Hart spends his days helping organise the distribution of Personal Protection Equipment to non-NHS locations around the county. He says it's a nice feeling, knowing he's doing his bit during the COVID-19 pandemic.
