UPDATE: This week is now full.
We have a final few spaces available on our Easter Child and Family Week at Harcombe House.
The programme – running from Monday 7 April – Friday 11 April – offers a safe, judgement-free break, and is specifically aimed at helping families with children with additional needs, young carers, children or parents living with difficult health conditions and a number of others.
We invited all of you to come together for a much-needed break at Harcombe House, our centre in Devon, with activities on offer throughout.
“Just because a family has more complicated requirements than another doesn’t mean they are any less deserving of a break,” says our Welfare Services Lead, Carrie Pearce. “It’s so important to be able to offer families time away from the pressures and stresses of everyday life and spend some quality time together.”
Carrie adds: “The week offers a structured activity programme for families who experience additional needs. It provides a much needed break away from the challenges and demands of everyday life, to enable time for them to spend together in a safe, secure and supported environment and to have the opportunity to meet other families in similar situations with whom they can share experiences and form friendships.”
You can hear from families who attended a previous programme here.
