We all know the importance of keeping our joints healthy. Making sure you do regular exercise, eating a balanced diet and getting a good night’s sleep will all contribute to keeping us moving and maintaining good joint health into our later years.
Sadly, however, not everyone is fortunate enough to experience healthy joints throughout their life. Did you know that around 22% of the population experience joint issues such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis, often resulting in chronic pain and limited mobility?
Many of these people require special equipment or adaptations to their homes to enable them to achieve greater independence and quality of life.
