This week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the theme this year is ‘Movement’ – something we as a charity aim to promote as much as possible throughout our services.

And to mark the week, our employees have been getting active in their own ways by spending 30 minutes doing something they enjoy, from walks in the countryside, to activities indoors at our centres and at home.

Our employees at Harcombe House, for example, teamed up to cycle, walk, run or get active in their own way throughout the week, before adding up the distances at the end – and as a team, they travelled 50.84 miles (the equivalent of Harcombe to Tintagel). Meanwhile, the team at Marine Court spent five minutes every morning doing a Tai Chi routine.

Below are a few of the highlights so far.
