Our new year of fundraising is well underway thanks to our fantastic supporters – with clothes recycling right across the UK in support of our Bag It and Bank It campaign, speed quizzing, weight lifting, runs, walks and so much more.
The Antarctic Fire Angels completed their epic challenge this month which saw them ski unsupported for 52 days to the South Pole. What an inspirational pair they made and we couldn’t be more delighted that they chose us to support.
THEY’VE DONE IT!
G & B have successfully skied unsupported for 52 days to the SOUTH POLE!!
After emotional phone calls to loved ones, theyre off to the catering tent for a well deserved hot meal, beer & use of a real toilet!
Congrats to these incredible women!

Meanwhile, a group of on-call firefighters from Thetford took on a 500 mile challenge – with all those taking part aiming to reach 500 miles of exercise between them, while raising vital funds for us. Donate to them here.
And firefighter Craig Neil set himself the huge challenge in January of running 1km on the first day of the month and building up to 31km on the 31st of the month – a total of 496km – and so far he’s raised over £720.
