This week we’re joining Fire and Rescue Services in celebrating our incredible Control Room colleagues across the UK.
We are there for the entire fire services community, not just firefighters, including all support staff and Control Room workers in the service β as well as their spouses, partners and dependants.
Recognising the selfless work they do every day is hugely important to us β so, we want to say a huge thank you to all of them. Without their heroic efforts, the amazing work of the UKβs fire services simply wouldnβt be possible.
Below are a few of the ways different services have been thanking their #HeroesInHeadsets:
Our Joint Fire Control has a bank of desks for 999 calls, a bank of desks for radio contact with fire appliances & desks for supervising managers! π₯π
