When it comes to fundraising, there really are no age restrictions – and we’ve seen some fantastic events and challenges this month, even from some of our youngest supporters.
In a lovely home fundraiser, young Dexter has made his own bracelets to sell in aid of us and Cornwall Air Ambulance with his mum Anna’s help.
He’s not the only youngster to support us this month, as Light Oaks Infant School in Salford invited students to create their own pieces of art based on the Great Fire of London, with parents then able to purchase the art in exchange for a small donation.
Meanwhile, a group of firefighters from Stocksbridge Fire Station in South Yorkshire challenged themselves to do an ice water dip before each drill – all while remaining sober for 60 days
A big well done to the Firefighters at Stocksbridge station who are halfway through their two month Dip and Sober Challenge. 🥶
They will be continuing to dip everyday throughout February.
All monies raised will go to @firefighters999.https://t.co/58qFRtMI3a pic.twitter.com/Ig9lTjdcJ9

I’m taking on a few challenges this year in memory of Margaret Barnes Smith of the @firefighters999 who sadly passed away last year. Margaret helped me and so many others & was one of my biggest supporters, always spurring me on. She is very sadly missed.https://t.co/N7TnJeccv1

🚒 As part of my 16 week course for GMFRS, I will be taking part in this charity event. What we have to do as a group of 37 recruits is going to be super tough and challenging. We would appreciate any amount that could be donated.https://t.co/yY39UYObXe pic.twitter.com/Uwuh5TywaR
