On 10 June, 1993 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, our Patron, attended an event at London’s Guildhall to mark 50 years of the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund, as we were known at the time.
This Golden Jubilee celebration was attended by a host of Charity and fire service representatives and, as our Patron begins celebrations to mark her Platinum Jubilee year, we’d like to try and track down as many of those who were present as we can.
Did you meet the Queen on the day? Were you involved in the preparations? Do you have a special memory of the day? Do you know any of the people in this fantastic assortment of images from the occasion? We’d love to hear from you if so. Please get in touch by emailing us at marketing@firefighterscharity.org.uk or by direct messaging our Head of Marketing and Engagement, Tim Beynon (@timbeynon) on MyFFC.
